Service terms & policies
Reservation, waiting-time, payment and cancellation policies for Basking Ridge Car Service.
Please review these policies before reserving. Confirm the applicable charges and any trip-specific arrangements with your reservation.
Early/Late Pickup Surcharge
Rides scheduled between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM will incur a surcharge of $10.00 to $30.00 depending on the time and location.
Additional Stops
A minimum charge of $15.00 will be applied for each additional stop based on distance and time.
Airport Waiting Time
Complimentary waiting time begins after the flight has arrived.
• Domestic arrivals: 45 minutes of complimentary waiting time.
• International arrivals: 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time.
• Waiting time beyond these limits will be billed in 15-minute increments at the vehicle’s hourly rate.
Additional Fees
All rides are subject to gratuity, round-trip tolls, parking fees, airport fees, and other associated costs.
Passenger Responsibility
• Passengers are responsible for any damages caused to the vehicle during the service.
• A $250.00 cleaning fee applies for spills, vomit, or excessive mess.
Wait & Return / Scheduled Pickups
A 10-minute grace period is provided. After this, waiting time will be billed in 15-minute increments based on the vehicle type.
Payment Policy
• Clients may pay before or after the service is completed.
• Sedans & SUVs: All credit card payments incur a 4% processing fee.
• Sprinter Van: All credit card payments incur a 5% processing fee.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
• Sedans & SUVs: Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before pickup to avoid full fare.
• Prepaid Sedan/SUV refunds: A 10% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
• Sprinter Van: A 50% deposit is required and is non-refundable under all circumstances.
• No-shows are charged the full base fare plus applicable waiting time.
Deposits
• Sprinter Van deposits are always non-refundable.
• Sedans & SUVs: Deposits are refundable minus a 10% processing fee.
Policy Updates
Policies may be updated or modified based on market conditions, reservation details, or vehicle availability.
